Within theatre, the magic of stories come to life. With this in mind, Ray Carver and The Lord Nelson Players, with support from Gayton Kirk Presbyterian, founded 3-Penny Theatre in 2013. In its early years, the company focused on original works inspired by Mark Twain and local Richmond history.
The company evolved and comprised four professional actors who worked collaboratively to produce works that embrace American heritage and history, while also addressing the social issues that shaped our world today.
We believe that theatre should be accessible to all people.
